Be A Risk Taker.

A goldfish jumping out of the water to escape to freedom. White background.

A goldfish jumping out of the water.. taking a risk. Did he make it? Probably not. But he wanted out of his confined situation. A few years ago, I got an email from one of my mentors, that simple said; “Felix, Should You Be Taking Risks?  Fear of the unknown is usually what prevents an individual from taking risks. Not all people are created equal and this includes one’s ability to tolerate the feeling of taking risks. However, just a little reminder, if you want to achieve something better, then you must not stay in the same condition forever. Keep moving. By now you should be taking risks and see how everything will be falling into place once you do this big leap of faith.”

2 reasons why you should not be having second thoughts about taking risks:

You need to experience new things  – You owe it to yourself to live your life to the fullest. Taking risks is definitely one way to do so. Life is such a meaningful endeavor for those who choose to learn the lessons it offers. If you are a coward who thinks that playing safe is the best way to live, then you are bypassing the opportunity to learn and mature with your experiences. Happier and more fulfilled people are brave enough to take risks. They have no regrets for the things they didn’t do and the opportunities they didn’t grab.

You will miss out your personal growth and development – Experience is the best teacher. I totally agree with this saying. If you fear taking risks, then you are no more than a comatose person whose life is only prolonged by machines. Hey, you are a thinking, moving and breathing person so don’t ever be paralyzed by fear! Mistakes and failures are parts of the winning process. Michael Jordan missed a lot of shots in his entire basketball career. NASA has failed numerous times in launching space rockets.

No one will laugh at you if you fail for the first time or for the ninth time. The important thing is that people see you as a brave person who wouldn’t give up until you are able to achieve your dreams. You will definitely grow and develop along the way. That is what matters! If you aren’t succeeding now, it might be the time to consider taking more risks.

Truth is, failures and mistakes aren’t bad things at all. In fact, true winners are shaped by disappointments and defeats. So, the next time you feel incapable of taking risks, imagine your dreams – who do you want to be? What do you want to have? Are these things not worth taking risks at all?

7 Effective Strategies to Get Your Goals This New Year

7-effective-strategies-to-get-your-goals-this-new-year

The New Year is finally here! It’s not too late to set your plans for 2017.  As the New Year  and a another chapter begins, you must plan to succeed and embrace change. And while starting over may seem difficult, a new start is something you owe to yourself.  There’s a proven method to achieving your goals. I’ve learned a lot from my mentors over the years and I applied many of these in 2016; I’ll share them with you today.

I wanna share with you the 7 Effective Strategies to Get Your Goals This New Year:

1. Know Your Why

Your goals must be aligned to your purpose and core values so you will always have the passion to work for it no matter the circumstances.

2. Be Specific

Goals like make more money, achieve financial and time freedom, and have more savings are doomed to fail because they lack specificity. For higher chances of succeeding, be more specific. Set S.M.A.R.T. Goals. This way, you can also easily track your progress.

3. Put it to Writing

Simply thinking about your goals doesn’t do you any justice. In fact, studies have shown that people who put their goals into writing increase the likelihood of achieving it by up to 70%. Once done with writing it down, you may also want to place the sticky notepads on places in your home that you can see all the time. This will serve as a reminder of the goals you want to achieve.

4. Create your Environment

Whatever is around you affects you, so it is highly suggested that you create a favorable environment for you. Keep a home office, de-clutter your space, and surround yourself with positive people who will always inspire you to do your best.

5. Only Have One Major Goal

When you put your efforts in too many things, you are absolutely bound to be out of track. So, only have one major goal in 2017, stick to it, and break it down to smaller, more achievable goals. Start small yet strong.

6. Focus on the Process

Focusing on the big picture has its perks, but it also has its downsides. So, I suggest you focus on the process itself. Suppose you aim to hit a 6-figure income in 2017, focus on how you will be able to achieve it – what skills can you hone? What training can you get? What kind of people would you rather hang around with? These are just some basic questions worth investing your money and time in. Besides these, you can also have a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goal that you can start focusing on.

7. Forgive and forget about your failures

Whatever happened in your life this year is already part of an old chapter, so let it go with acceptance and face the New Year with confidence and faith. Your prior setbacks and failures don’t define you, your attitude and how you react will. Remember, persistence pays off. So, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle.

Life rewards those who work hard and smart for it!

How To Build Your Brand on the Internet

How To Build Your Brand on the Internet

Hello,

Today I would like to discuss branding online. Branding on the Internet is having the name, picture, logo or any representation of your business, company, products or services. Branding is the process of inculcating a unique image and name of products or services in the consumers’ minds. Branding can be done through advertising campaigns with theme consistency. Each Entrepreneur and Internet Marketer does branding differently. Branding is vital in online marketing because it establishes a differentiated presence that magnets and retains loyal clients.

However, the question is, how can you have successful branding?

Your brand name should comprise of only a few words – the shorter, the better. This will help your web visitors to easily remember and recognize your brand name. Concise branding will be beneficial in referrals.

The logo and/or picture of your brand must be unique. The design should not look similar to other brands because it can confuse your potential customers. Unique and impressive branding will be more memorable. How you present your brand to the world is how the world sees and remembers your brand.

Once you have established a unique brand name and logo, give it the exposure it needs. Your brand should be seen everywhere consistently. One good suggestion to expose your brand is through blog. A blog is one of the easiest way and less expensive tools to increase branding. Social media sites are also helpful branding tools since millions of people are using these daily. The more frequent people see your brand online, the higher your brand awareness is.

While exposure is the key, you have to make sure that you are exposing your brand positively. If you are utilizing blog or social media for branding, only publish and post relevant content. Creating valuable information is the best way of branding. Your audience will not only remember what your business logo or name is but what your brilliant ideas and expertise are. Remember, successful branding comes with credibility. Credibility and trust are two main things that you work on with branding. If you want to learn how to become an Entrepreneur online, you must understand branding. Branding is the key to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Build Relationships, Not Just Business.

Build-Network-business-relationships

Finally upgraded my home internet and phone system so that I can get ready to take business to the next level. One of the keys to being successful in business today is technology, specifically the internet. But today I want to talk about the one aspect of business will has been around for ages and will be around for many years to come and that is “relationships”. MLM and Direct Sales (Social Marketing) is all about… relationships, relationships and more relationships… In fact, I’m rarely concerned with whether a person wants to or does join my business; my only concern is how much of a relationship can I build with that person.

Relationships are the essence of a home based business, and the more trust, friendship and depth you have in a relationship, the more stable that relationship will be whether business or personal. So when I look for my future business partners, I’m really looking for people who I can establish a long-term relationship with that is built on a foundation of trust and will grow to be beneficial all across the board for everyone involved.

Your home based business can be far more solid stable and thriving when it’s built upon principles of relationship building rather than “recruiting” and just sales. Let’s be honest, who wants to be recruited or feel like they are being hustled? Building a home based business isn’t the army! People want to choose who they join. People want to be mentored, not recruited. So enough of my rant, it’s time dig into the roots of what I’m actually doing.

The whole scope of this thing blows me away! To think… I’m part of a business that anyone can build, duplicate for the next 5, 10, 20 years and you can make a ton of money if you can follow directions very well… Wow, that’s powerful stuff. If you don’t believe me, check this out!

If you’re serious about building a real long-term business that pays you for the rest of your life, and pain-saving your life, then you can go ahead and give me a call direct. Look forward to joining forces with you.

Take care,
Felix

Visualizing Success: 6 Ways To Set Yourself Apart In Business

The Power Of Visualizations

(BPT) – More than half a million new businesses emerge onto the scene over the course of each month, according to Forbes Entrepreneurs. But even more businesses shut down than start up. Whether you’re a new business owner or an employee looking to take your career to the next level, it’s definitely a competitive environment. How can you differentiate yourself from the millions of others?

Developing a purpose and setting goals to accomplish that purpose is the key to success,” says Per Wickstrom, founder of Best Drug Rehabilitation and successful business leader. “As an individual, you have a unique and fresh perspective, so it’s important to let that shine through.”

Wickstrom offers his proven tips for setting yourself apart from the rest to reach your business and career goals:

Give back to the community

Never underestimate the power of giving back to your surrounding community. The local community is what helps your business grow, and giving back is immensely rewarding and valuable. From volunteer days to donation drives, there are hundreds of ways for you and your business to give back to the community.

Tell your unique story

All successful people have role models and mentors from which they draw inspiration and knowledge, but it’s important to continue to develop your own individual style and viewpoint. How did you get where you are today? Don’t be afraid to be your dynamic and complex self.

Continue to learn

Commit to learning something new each and every day. To be innovating and create new products and services, you need to stay on top of the trends and news in your industry. Keep an open mind and always be ready to absorb as much information as you can. Being flexible and adaptable are some of the most valuable assets.

Learn from your mistakes

Of course you’ll never make it to the top without learning from your many mistakes along the way. There are very few “overnight successes” in the world, and it’s likely you’ll spend years working towards your greatest accomplishments. When you experience a setback, don’t let it overwhelm your rational thinking. Instead, let it fuel your motivation on the road to achieving your goals.

Keep productivity top of mind

When collaborating with others, meetings can be both incredibly productive or a complete waste of time. Keep your meetings and brainstorm sessions compelling and energetic without letting them run too long. Put away your smartphone and other devices to focus on the task at hand.

Focus on your passion

Successful entrepreneurs and business leaders are not successful because they let money drive them. Instead, they focus on their passion and spend time working on a vision that pulls them forward. While this involves a bit of risk, every successful person must take that leap in order to develop their goals and dreams. When you visualize your success, it means you believe what you want is more than possible.

For anyone seeking validation that rehabilitation works, Per Wickstrom’s success is more than enough evidence. For more information and influential tips on success, visit perwickstom.com.

Free Strategies for Marketing Your Business!

Marketing Strategy 2016

We live in a world where attention is money, and it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to attract the eyes and ears of your target market. Not only are you up against larger companies with nicely funded marketing departments, you’re also competing with and a multitude of other distractions for the attention of your prospects.

But that doesn’t mean your marketing efforts have to cost a ton of money or be overly dramatic in order to stand out from the crowd. Here are five creative and inexpensive ways to market your business in a digital world:

1. Get endorsed by a local celebrity.

Many business owners dream of having their product or service endorsed by a global celebrity. But instead of trying to get a superstar to support your business, try seeking out a local celebrity instead.

Who exactly are local celebrities? These are people your local paper is writing about — perhaps an “unsung hero” such as a teacher or a resident who’s doing something positive and newsworthy. Since they’re in your neighborhood, these people should be relatively easy to locate and contact by phone or e-mail. Let them know you’d like to send them a gift, namely your product or service.

The only catch: you’d like to follow up with them in a few days to get their honest feedback. Their responses can make for useful blog or marketing content.

2. Create a LinkedIn group.

Not only is a LinkedIn group free to create, it can enable you to offer your professional network a vibrant, useful information resource all while driving traffic to your site and increasing sales. Just don’t use the platform to hard sell anyone.

It can take time and effort to get one going, but the goal should be to help provide resources and start discussions on topics that can benefit your community. Groups should also be a place for your members to network with other professionals online.

3. Get published on niche blogs.

While it may be difficult to get on the front cover of a major magazine, you can create marketing strategies and opportunities by being featured in a popular niche blog. Identify three to five blogs that target your market then contact the creator and offer a few ideas of how you’d like to bring value to his or her readers. You can:

– Demonstrate good will by offering the niche blog owner a small amount of your product or service for free, which they can give away to their audience as a gift. This is different than a product review, which only offers information.

– Send ideas for blog posts you’d like to write and explain why they would be helpful for their readers.

– Ask if you can interview them for your site. This might entice the blog manager to promote your content since it highlights his or her business.

4. Create videos for YouTube.

With more than 800 million unique visitors a month, YouTube can be a powerful platform for marketing a business online. To do so, go beyond simply posting random videos of your product or sharing your thoughts.

The marketing videos you create should include the following elements:

– A keyword-researched headline

– A clear editorial message (don’t try to accomplish too much in one video)

– A call to action (tell the viewer to do something, such as subscribing to your channel)

While you can spend a small fortune on cameras, lighting equipment and editing software, the camera built into your smartphone should be able to capture suitable online video. As for editing, if you’re on a Mac, for instance, you should already have iMovie in your applications. Even if you don’t have a Mac you can find free software online or hire a professional editor on sites such as Fiverr.com, possibly for as little as $5 depending on the scope of the work.

I plan on going into much greater depths on the five suggestions listed above once I launch Felix L. Griffin Online Network and Social Media marketing Training Series in May 2016, but until then…

Network Marketing in 2016

Network Marketing 2016

A few years ago, I shared a post titled “Why Network Marketing?”   In it, I shared a few aspects of Network marketing.   Fast forward to today, we have social marketing. Though this term isn’t new, it has resurfaced as new buzz word in social media and marketing circles. Social marketing is an approach used to develop activities aimed at changing or maintaining people’s behavior for the benefit of individuals, businesses and society as a whole.

What’s all the fuss with Social marketing? Believe it or not, you already market, socially, every day! Whether it’s with friends over lunch, with coworkers in the office, or neighbors across the fence, as well as Facebook. We gladly talk about the things we “like”. This can include everything from the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the movies we watch and the places we go and the foods we eat.  That’s what makes social marketing, such an integral part of network marketing or direct selling industry.

It’s only natural to share something that appealed to or worked for you. Sharing is a natural tendency and we all know “PEOPLE Will Talk”. Network marketing [Direct Selling] gives you the opportunity to cash in on that sharing and many companies have exclusive products people are talking about. Many companies allow you to start your business for as little as $50 with various product packages starting less than $200 upon enrollment. IMAGINE THAT!! Starting a Business for less than $200.. Wow. It happens everyday in the world of Network Marketing. Whether you are trying to make extra monthly income to help with the car payment or you want to earn an extraordinary income, Network Marketing provides you with an opportunity to achieve your dreams based on your willingness to learn and your “sweat-equity”.

The average Top Earner in Direct Selling is earning approxiately $20,000 per month / $240,000 per year based on 8,000+ ranks and 500+ distributors are making $1+ million a year. via http://www.businessforhome.org

There are many reasons why Network Marketing is extremely attractive, especially compared to a traditional business or career:

  1. Minimal Risk. You can create a business and generate business without having to develop a product or create marketing/sales materials. You don’t have to store inventory. You don’t have shipping cost. You don’t have to figure out payroll or hire employees. Most Network Marketing Companies provide all of that for you.
  2. Extremely Low Start-Up Costs. While a traditional business may cost hundreds, even thousands of dollars to start, it will only cost you a few hundred dollars to start a network marketing/home business.
  3. Impressive Residual Income. As you build your business and organization, you are compensated for your growth through long-term, residual income that can be earned for years and years. And there are various other incentives you’ll be eligible for as you build your business. Add these all up, and this income can be life-changing.
  4. Flexibility. Whether you’re Father looking to add extra income or Mom who works a part-time job or work a normal “day job”, It doesn’t matter—it’s up to you how much time and effort you put into your network marketing business. And you decide when you work.
